Individual Therapy

I offer 50-minute sessions for individuals - therapy can be either short-term or long-term. It all depends on what the individual brings to therapy to work on.

Often, individuals come to counselling & psychotherapy for support and to make sense of what is happening in their lives right now. This journey is not always an easy one; it does not provide a "quick-fix" but rather an exploration of what got you to where you are now, where do you want to be and how to get there.

Couples Therapy

I offer  60 to 90 minute sessions for couples.

Contracts are generally six to eight weeks but can be lengthened based on the couple's needs.

Often couples come to counselling for support and to make sense of what is happening in their relationship right now. Couples work is generally short-term and is focussed on the couples relationship with each other. 

Group Therapy

I offer one and a half hour group sessions once or twice weekly. Group therapy provides a unique space for its members to explore personal and interpersonal problems. Group therapy provides you the opportunity to be supported by the group as you explore what is happening in your life right now and what you can do to effect change in your life.  

First sessions give us a chance to meet one another and decide if we can work together.
In these sessions, I am interested in learning about you, what has brought you to therapy, what you'd like to gain from it, and any hopes and worries you may have about your past, present, or future. 

I'd like to know a bit about your family history and your present situation, and you are also free to ask me questions about the way I work.

By the end of this session, we should be able to decide together the best way forward.
